Kung Hei Fat Choi - Happy New Year
We have had a fantastic week learning about how Chinese New Year is celebrated.
Did you know that it is the year of the Rooster?
We shared lots of non-fiction and fiction books to find out exciting facts and then used our creative skills to make lanterns, dragons and lucky red envelopes.
We also enjoyed a Chinese feast of vegetable stir fry, noodles, rice and prawn crackers. We tried our best to eat it with chopsticks!
Some of us were more successful than others, but it was great that everyone had a try.
