Nursery - Keeping in touch

I hope everyone is keeping well and continuing to make the most of the last few days of sunshine!
It has been lovely to hear from you again and I am pleased you are all managing to stay busy at home.

Margot has been busy again! We have looked at mini beasts focusing on ladybirds, caterpillars, butterflies, spiders, snails, worms and looked at frogs too. We have gone on bug hunts, made bug houses and counted bugs into bug jars. Margot has also practised writing her name and enjoyed lots of fine motor activities. We have practised counting and matching with numbers to 5. She has created some lovely butterfly and snail art work too. Another busy couple of weeks!

Mrs Dodge- Home Learning Week 12

Home Learning Week 12

Neo has been very busy this week. He has been learning how to make yorkshire puddings, building with his Lego and making Spiderman face painting.
He also spent a long time making and decorating a bug hotel. We can't wait to see what he finds living in there.

Amaia has been using money to but the animals from The Great Pet Sale book.

Charlie has been doing some data collection and making a bar graph and tally chart of his toys.

Emmie has been doing lots of maths work. She has looked at money, adding (including number bonds), continents of the world as well as practising her spreading of butter on toast.

That cupcake design looks yummy Emmie!

Evie went on a walk and used the grass she found to make a lovely bee picture. I can see some hexagons in there too :)

Keeping in touch - Nursery

Hope you are all keeping well.
Ella has been keeping very busy over the past couple of weeks.

This week Ella has been a busy little girl. We have done a few activities from your plan. Ella has been using her scissors to cut out different sized dinosaurs and she then sorted them by size. She has also been practising her numbers and is getting good at recognising some numbers to 5. Ella has also baked some frozen cakes, has done lots of mark making and colouring, been encouraging her little sister to stand up and was very excited to have her class photograph dropped off so she can see her teachers again.

She is definitely missing school now and is starting to tell me, ‘ I do that at my school!’

Over the last few weeks Amaia has been working hard on her phonics and counting. Well done.

I hope we get a few more photos next week. I will continue to post what you have been up to on a Friday so keep them coming in.  :)
