In an attempt to distract the children from the arrival of Doris, I subtly left out the giant number tiles after the children had got excited over ordering numbers during welcome time! The children loved it and quickly worked together to order them to 24. They then spent some time jumping along them reciting the numbers as they went. I then started putting the correct number of objects onto some of them, everyone thought this was a brilliant idea and soon followed suit.

I have loved seeing how excited all the children are about numbers, well done everybody!
