This week we have loved reading and learning from The Enormous Turnip.
We have completed lots of number work on using ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc), counting forwards and backwards, measuring with our hands/feet to find things longer or shorter, and even measured time. What could you do in one minute?
In literacy, we also thought about how plants grow, named the parts of a flower, ordered how you would plant a seed and even thought about making our own version of the story, but using a different fruit of vegetable.
