RBingham - Celebrating Bonfire Night

Celebrating Bonfire Night

We have been learning about why we celebrate Bonfire Night.
We have learnt lots of information about Guy Fawkes and his plot to kill King James.

Who are these men and why are they whispering?
How many barrels of gunpowder were put in the cellars of the Houses of Parliament?

We created firework skies using oil pastels.

We rolled marbles in paint to create firework explosions!

We used our cutting and sticking skills to make firework rockets to blast off into the sky.

In Maths, we have been exploring the concept of sharing. Scooby-Doo and Shaggy need to eat an equal number of hotdogs.

We have also been busy building The Houses of Parliament, acting out the story of The Gunpowder Plot and ordering numbered fireworks.

What a busy week we have had!
