RBingham - Bonfire Night Celebrations!

Bonfire Night

This week we have been busy learning about Bonfire Night and the story of Guy Fawkes.

As you can see from our floorbook, we have also been learning about how to stay safe during Bonfire Night.

We made cut and stick rockets.

We used marbles in runny paint to create firework explosions.

We wrote firework numbers outside using streamers and pom-poms.

We used oil pastels to create a firework-filled sky.

We explored the concept of 'sharing': Scooby-Doo and Shaggy wanted to share the bonfire hotdogs. We had to make if fair by sharing them equally.

We also used the wooden blocks to build the Houses of Parliament, including Big Ben, and also a fire station!

As you can see, we've had an extremely busy week learning about Bonfire Night!
