DIWALI

This week we have been looking at the festival of Diwali. 

We know that this is also known as the Festival of Lights.
We have done lots of fun activities.

Some children played in an Indian restaurant.

We made salt dough diva lamps. We will paint and decorate them next week when they've fully dried!

We made cut and stick Rangoli patterns. We had to cut the paper into tiny pieces and added lots of glitter.

We listened to the story of Rama and Sita then we acted it out in our puppet theatre and in the outside classroom.

Snack time was food tasting - naan bread, poppodums and mango chutney.
