Nursery- Loose parts

We are enjoying exploring our loose parts in Nursery; which in a nutshell are materials that can be moved, carried, combined, redesigned, lined up, and taken apart and put back together in multiple ways. They are materials with no specific set of directions that can be used alone or combined with other materials.

This afternoon some children decided to sit at the loose parts area and start to create patterns. One ended up as a group of circles each one made with different objects, one started as a face but developed into much much more, another was a patterned layered sequins and cogs!

Each one unique and equally wonderful!

    1. She really loved it. She spent a long time there adding more to her creation and chatting throughout to me! Was very lovely to see!
