Exploring Space
This week week we have been learning about space travel.
We read 'Whatever Next!' by Jill Murphy and thought about what we would pack to take on a journey to the moon.
We made our own rockets to blast off into space. We have very good scissor skills!
We made different sized rockets using tap-tap shapes.
We built lots of different types of rockets!
We enjoyed using our imagination in our 'Space Station' role play area. We also acted out 'Whatever Next' with different props.

In maths, we have been counting aliens in spaceships. We have been exploring different ways of making totals of 10.
We are looking forward to learning about the planets in our Solar System next week.
