Cinderella
We have had a fantastic week at Prince Charming's ball, where we dressed up, wrote invitations with special quills, wrote banquet menus and had a wonderful banquet with our friends!
We have been so busy! We built castles/palaces and wrote labels, used 2D shapes to create castles and also built towers using Numicon. (Each layer could only have two pieces but had to total 10.)
In our outside classroom, we explored capacity. We enjoyed estimating how many cups would fill the jug and then how many jugs would fill the washing up bowl. We had a great time in the water tray!
We also thought about how Cinderella felt when her step-sisters had gone to the ball and she was all alone. We talked about how we could help someone at school if they felt unhappy or were alone in our playground. We are so lucky to have such kind and caring children in our class because we had so many ideas about how to be kind to others.
Lovely to see what they have been up to and big smiley faces so we can see that they are happy. Thank you for taking the time to share these blogs with us. Very happy and proud mummy and daddy. And Kaitlyn loves looking through them with us and telling us all about what they have been doing
