Exploring Underground

and In The Dark.

This week, we have been busy thinking about what creatures we might find underground and made a list.

We also made a list of what we would pack to go on an underground adventure.

We thought about other words to descibe the dark such as sunless, dingy, gloomy, dim, pitch black, jet black, inky.

We had a fantastic time exploring our Dark Den role play area.

We also made dens together outside.

We explored the dark by travelling along an obstacle course blindfolded.

We continued to find 1 more and 1 less.

We also continued to partition numbers into tens and ones.

We enjoyed creating our own underground maps.
