Nursery On Safari

This week we are heading to Africa and going On Safari!

We read the story Handa's Surprise. We talked about the fruit that Handa carried to her friend's village and the cheeky animals that took the fruit without Handa knowing!

We painted the animals that were hiding in the grass and in the trees! We also retold the story using the puppets.

We went on safari in our own jeep and used the binoculars to hunt for elephants, lions and zebras!

We have been making Kente patterns at the cut and stick table. We had to work in groups to create the patterns.

In PE we worked with beanbags. We are trying hard to improve our hand eye coordination and balancing skills.
