Underground and Nocturnal Animals
This week we have been learning about animals that live underground. We have used non-fiction books and Google to research facts about the animals.
In literacy we pretended to be explorers and wrote about the animals we saw.
We have enjoyed programming the beebots to get them to the different animals.
Miss Carr and the children used paper mache to make a rabbit. We have called him Ronnie. Did you know that a rabbit lives in the ground, but a hare lives on the ground!
Mr Ward helped The Green Group to take pictures, upload them to Skitch and write on them.
We also had another fantastic lesson with Mr Toyne. We practised bouncing and catching, throwing and catching, as well as hitting a ball with our hands. We ended the session with a game of dodgeball.
