The Gingerbread Man

It has been great having the children back in school this week. They have really settled back in well and have tried super hard in all their work Well done everybody!

This week we have enjoyed making gingerbread men, playing in our Bakery role play and using the playdough to decorate and make our own gingerbread men.

In literacy, we practised re-telling the story and sequencing the story using pictures. We even made and labelled a 3D map of the story.

In Numeracy, we thought about positional language, ordering numbers and learning how to use a bar model to make our number bonds to 10.
