Diwali Nursery

We have been busy in Nursery setting up ready to celebrate Diwali. Over the next couple of weeks we will listen to the story of Rama and Sita, create Mendhi and Rangoli patterns and work together to create some firework paintings.

We have Numicon to make Rangoli patterns

We can retell the story of Rama and Sita using puppets

The role play is a restaurant. Over the next couple of weeks we will be eating naan bread and poppadoms at our snack table

Rama and Sita both wore beautiful jewellry. We can dress up and look at ourselves in the mirror

We can make firework pictures using the Tap, Tap Shapes, 2D shapes or at the loose parts table.

Finger gym this week is to make bracelets using buttons and clips

At the play dough table we can make fireworks

We have already been busy outside drawing fireworks on the path and stones
