Poppies
This morning in Nursery we talked about poppies and why we wear them.
We drew a poppy field and painted individual poppies.
Then at 11 o'clock, the children observed the minute's silence. They sat brilliantly - well done!
This afternoon we went out onto the field to collect leaves of different colours.
We then used these leaves to create some poppy art. Beautiful aren't they?
