The Jolly Postman.
This week we have been thinking about how the Jolly Postman delivered his letters. We drew a story map to help him deliver his mail.
We have been busy helping the postal workers by sorting the post into odd and even numbers.
We enjoyed working in our Post Office role play area. We watched 'Come Outside' to help us find out what happens to a letter after it is put in the postbox.

We made our own wrapping paper to sell in our Post Office. It had to be a AAB or ABB repeat pattern.
We really enjoyed working together to wrap parcels!
We weighed parcels and also delivered numbered envelopes to the correct doors in our Outside Classroom.
