Hot Air Balloon Flights
This week we have tried our best to keep our routines as normal as possible.
We have been learning about travelling in hot air balloons and finding out about how they work.

After watching some hot air balloons being inflated and then taking flight (on Youtube), we have enjoyed going on our own journeys in our very own hot air balloon!
We enjoyed making cut and stick hot air balloons, using plastic bottle tops as baskets.
We've also had lots of fun making gyrocopters and paper planes.
We've been very busy partitioning numbers using Numicon, and also our cups and saucers with the tens and ones.
We've also been exploring capacity, thinking about full, half full/empty and empty.
We've had so much fun!
