Bonfire Night Celebrations

We have been busy learning about the story of Bonfire Night.

We have had fun creating firework pictures using oil pastels, paint and using the drawing app on our ipads.

We have also used our manipulative skills, rolling marbles in paint to create explosions of colour, just like fireworks in the night sky!

 In maths, we have been very busy ordering firework numbers, sharing bonfire hotdogs between Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, continuing repeat patterns and counting sparkles on fireworks.

We have also enjoyed lots of other activities such as acting out the story of The Gunpowder Plot, making repeat firework patterns, making rockets and playing a wide range of Bonfire Night games.
