During our
first week back at school we were
learning about Bonfire Night.
We read the story of Guy Fawkes and pretended to be him and his
friends in our outside classroom –
hiding 36 barrels of gunpowder would not
have been easy!
One of the most important things that we talked about this week was how we could all stay safe and have a
great time on Bonfire night.
Once we understood about firework safety – the fun began!!!!
We were really proud of all the different
fireworks we made.
We used
our new found phonics skills to write words that
described what fireworks do.
What do you enjoy doing on Bonfire Night?
You can see them all in pride of place on our
classroom window.
