RBingham - Exploring in The Garden (week 2)

 More Exploring in the Garden!

This week we have continued to find facts about minibeasts in our gardens.

Did you know that snails lay eggs?
Did you know that some spiders have eight eyes?
Did you know that frogs are amphibians?

As well as lots of Literacy and Numeracy activities, we have been very creative this week!
We worked in the style of Lauren Child and created 'Charlie and Lola' style cut and stick art work.

We have also been working in the style of artist Paul Klee.

As part of 'The Great Science Share', we have been talking about Climate Change and what we can do to reduce the use of plastic. We recycled coloured plastic lids and made some minibeast artwork: beetles and butterflies!

We made cut and stick butterflies.

We've also been having lots of fun during our PE lessons with Mr Toyne.
We practised Sports Day skills!

We've also been making special cards (check the BLOG on Sunday to see them all)!

What a busy week!
