RBingham - Water Travel

Water Travel - week 1.

This week we have been very busy finding out different ways to travel on/under water. We also found out interesting facts from our history: we enjoyed finding out information about The Titanic; we also learnt about the famous explorer Captain Cook.
Can you tell your grown-ups any facts??

We enjoyed creating underwater maps for our submarine tours.

We used the drawing app on our IPads to create an underwater scene. We used illustrations from 'Commotion in the Ocean' and 'SNAP!'.

We made observational drawings of some rainbow trout, looking closely at the shape, texture and patterns on the fish.
They were a bit smelly!

We used the story 'Tiddler' to help us to make some cut and stick fish.

In our outside classroom we hunted for objects longer and shorter than our fish.
We also played number BINGO!

We enjoyed exploring floating and sinking too!

We really enjoyed learning about what happened to The Titanic. Some of us decided to build it (before it sank to the bottom of the ocean).
