Travelling into Space
This week we have been learning about the planets in our solar system.
Can you name them all?
We drew the planets in our solar system on to our space backgrounds.
They look out of this world!!
We had fun constructing the International Space Station.
In our outside classroom, we created an obstacle course to travel on the moon.
We have been describing 2D and 3D shapes this week. We drew around 2D shapes to make space shuttles.
We also made 3D space shuttles to blast off into space. We rolled our paper to make a cylinder shape and also a cone.
We used the tap-tap shapes to make space shuttles, using a range of 2D shapes.
In maths, we counted alien eyes to make different totals.
We also worked together to order numbered aliens!
What a busy week we've had!
We've really enjoyed learning about travelling into space.
