This week we have been reading different versions of Jack and the Beanstalk and enjoying tasks inspired by the story. The children have been making repeating pattern beanstalks, building giant castles, sequencing the story and instructions, estimating how many beans they can fit in their hand, ordering by size, subtracting using magic beans and much, much more!
And, of course, we have planted our own beans to see if any of them will turn into magic beanstalks... watch this space!
