This week we have used some of the apples on our very own tree to make some delicious apple crumble!
We picked the apples from the big tree, we had to use sticks to knock the apples off because we couldn't reach!
Once we had to the apples we had to peel and chop them and then cook them...they smelt delicious!!
Then it was time to make the crumble, we measured out the flour and butter and rubbed it together. We all practiced the action, after stirring in the sugar it was time to put it all together!
After it had been in the oven it was time to taste it, we even had some ice cream with it! It was delicious and Mrs Jarrett was really proud of everyone for trying it, even when they weren't sure if they would like it!
