Butterfly Release Day!
This afternoon was a very exciting time for our class!
We have really enjoyed watching our tiny caterpillars grow into huge caterpillars, which then spun cocoons.
Sometime over the weekend, something incredible happened and when we arrived at school on Monday morning, we found five beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies in our net.
This afternoon, we decided that it was time to release our butterflies into our wildlife garden at school.
We were so excited!
