Easter and Spring in the Nursery

We have been very busy in Nursery thanks to the Friends of Fosse Way.
We made some super hats using our cut and stick skills and some lovely foam stickers. 

Then we had a little disco and played Springtime corners.

This morning we played Hunt the packets of Haribo in the Nursery. The children thoroughly enjoyed this and are looking forward to their treats later on!

Thank you again to Friends of Fosse Way for all our treats! They were much appreciated!

Easter surprises

Nursery would like to say a 'big Thank you' to the Friends of Fosse Way who treated us to some Easter and Springtime treats. 

We will be making some little hats and playing games along with eating our delicious chocolates and sweets!

Quiet area

We have been very busy in Nursery. Last week we cleared away all the weeds from under our apple tree - we nearly filled a whole bin liner!

We then laid some turf so that in the summer we have a quiet area to sit and read a book.

We also laid some large stones so that we could put down some chairs and pillows and enjoy the shade from the tree.

We will add some photos when the area is finished and we are say enjoying it!

RMcCabe - The Jolly Postman

To round up our term of Traditional Tales, our final story was The Jolly Postman. Here are just some of the activities the children have been enjoying. They have also been writing story maps, birthday shopping lists, party invitations and birthday cards!

Thank you so much for all the effort that went into dressing up your children as characters from their favourite tales. They had a great time making memories!
