NURSERY AUTUMN

 Autumn

We have been really busy in Nursery learning all about Autumn.
We have been for a walk around the school grounds - in the junior's quiet place under the trees, in the nature area, in the allotments and on the school field. We found leaves, feathers, acorns, twigs and minibeasts a-plenty!

In the classroom we have had loads of wonderful Autumn based activities.

Finger gym - balancing the conkers on golf tees and using the tweezers to 'nip, nip' the conkers into seed trays
Using the magnifying glasses to find the minibeasts
Retelling the story of The Gruffalo using puppets

Role play - Percy the Park Keeper's shed.

Finger gym - using the pegs as spider's legs

Scooping the soil into the trays and planting the seeds

Number activity - ordering numbers, matching the number of spots the correct number

Play dough hedgehogs

The children have all been super-busy trying out the new activities!
