Water Travel - week 2
This week we have been busy learning lots of facts about underwater sea creatures.
We have enjoyed working in our underwater role play area, especially reading in our underwater den.
We have also enjoyed reading the stories:
We enjoyed building Mr Gumpy's boat and using ordinal numbers to sequence the characters.
Who was 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th 10th?
We also pretended that we were Dougal, the deep sea diver, and created an underwater pathway to Atlantis. What did we see, hear and touch under the ocean?
We really enjoyed our science experiment with ice. We explored different ways of extracting the sea creatures from the ice block.
It was really exciting!
We also enjoyed drawing some langoustines, looking carefully at the shapes and lines.
In Maths, we have been exploring number bonds to 10, by making sandwiches using Numicon. Some of us even recorded the number sentences to show how we had made 10.
Another busy week in Class RBingham!
