This week we have been busy baking cakes.

First we talked about the equipment we might need. Then we talked about the ingredients.

We decided on a topping for our cupcake.

We were very proud of our cupcakes and very excited to eat them too!

Reception - Teams for Sports Day

Last week Reception enjoyed competing against each other across all three classes. The results of the races help to make sure teams are balanced for Sports Day. First they had a running race, then they had a skipping race. It was a lot of fun!

The Royal Wedding

What a  lovely day we had on Friday learning all about and celebrating the Royal Wedding.  We looked at clips from Prince William and Kate’s wedding, made crowns and tiaras, designed our own wedding dresses, got dressed up in our poshest frocks and even got married! To finish the day we made jam tarts and had a lovely garden tea party outside to celebrate! 

We hope you all enjoyed watching the wedding over the weekend and I would love to see any photos if you did anything special to celebrate.
