The Very Hungry Caterpillar
We have a had a great week based on one of our favourite stories
'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle.
We have made story maps, diaries and looked at the life cycle of a butterfly.
We have also explored symmetry in lots of different ways:
We are very proud of the children who continued their learning at home. Brilliant!
We are SO excited, as we have our very own caterpillars!
We are going to observe how they grow and change.
EXCITING!!!
We are also very lucky, as Max brought a dragonfly in to school to show us.
It was perfectly preserved and we were amazed at how delicate it was. It was beautiful!

ReplyDeleteJames has also got some hungry caterillars at home and is amazed at how fast they are growing and can't wait for them to change into butterflies!
