This year is the year of the rat.

We made dancing Chinese Dragons.
We created Chinese dragon dances in response to music.
We made our own Chinese lanterns...
...and lucky red envelopes.
We really enjoyed our Chinese banquet. We tasted vegetable stir-fry with noodles, egg fried rice and also prawn crackers. We had fun trying to use chopsticks to eat it all, but it was a bit tricky!!
We also enjoyed setting up our Chinese restaurant role play areas too.
In maths, we counted 1p and 2p coins in our lucky red envelopes.
We also made teen numbers and number lines using Numicon.
What a busy week learning lots of new information!
