Gardening

Our green fingered nursery children have been working hard this week to get the vegetable patch ready for planting. They used great scissor skills to cut down the daffodils and used their strong arms to pull up all the weeds that had grown.  Once it was cleared they used the trowls and forks to dig over the soil.
Now cleared they planted the carrot plants that’s you all took home and brought back to us, they are growing nicely. Over the coming weeks we are going to be planting some other vegetables, ready to harvest later in the year.

The children then enjoyed exploring what they had dug up using the magnifying glasses. They especially loved the bugs!

RMcCabe - Fancy Dress Day

To complete two weeks of clothes and shoes, we came to school in fancy dress or and outfit chosen by us. Here are the children showing off their amazing costumes!

Thank you to everyone for your support in helping to make these special memories!

RMcCabe - Beginner Biking

The children had a brilliant time learning to ride a bike without stabilisers with Mr Allan.
First they shuffled across a bench to practise the balance bike technique then they applied it in the bikes. They push themselves forward with both feet and glide along on the bike.

Thank you Mr Allan!
