Welcome back everybody! This term we are thinking about Traditional Tales. In the red room, we have been exploring The Gingerbread Man. The children have baked real gingerbread men, modelled with gingerbread scented playdough and tried to solve his problem to cross the river with bridges and boats as well as lots of counting and exploring number bonds to 10.

Phonics

In Nursery we have begun to look at our letter sounds (phonics). This term we are looking at s, a, t, i, p, n. We follow the Jolly Phonics scheme which introduces the letter with an action and a song.
